Preguntas frecuentes

Do I need to own Diablo II?
Yes. You need your own Diablo II with Lord of Destruction (1.14) or Diablo II: Resurrected. This wiki cannot provide the files.
Are my game files uploaded?
No. According to the developer, the files are read locally and never sent anywhere.
Does it work with Diablo II: Resurrected?
Yes. The developer lists D2R as supported, alongside classic Diablo II with Lord of Destruction 1.14.
Is there a desktop app?
Yes. The developer offers apps for Mac (Apple silicon) and Windows; Windows is still in beta. The browser version works on any desktop browser.

D2 Survivors, the free Diablo II–inspired browser game, needs your own copy of Diablo II to run. This page explains what it needs and why.

What you need

Option Notes
Diablo II with Lord of Destruction, patch 1.14 Classic install on your computer
Diablo II: Resurrected (D2R) Your own install

How it works

  1. Open the game on the home page or the original site.
  2. Point the game at your Diablo II install folder once, using its own setup screen.
  3. The game reads art and sound from that folder locally in your browser. According to the developer, the files are never uploaded.

The step-by-step instructions are on the original developer’s Set up your files page. This wiki does not provide, host or link to any game files.

Phones

Phones cannot run it because they have no Diablo II install. Use a desktop browser, or the developer’s Mac or Windows app.
